The invaluable and often overlooked work done by the P.R.U (photo reconnaissance units) done during World War Two, included the discovery and pinpointing of Hitler's V-Weapons. Many of these rockets and their launch sites were then destroyed by R.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. bombing before they could be launched against Allied targets.
