Oil- and gascompanies, mining corporations and major governments are cheering global warming.

The melting of the sea-ice and the glaciers makes exploration and exploiting of gas, oil and minerals, like uranium, in the Arctic possible.

Like the rising “fracking mania” and the destruction of large areas of Canada for a little oil and leaving behind, for future generations, disastrous ecological effects, the same will happen in the unspoilt Arctic.

The only solution is a way of life and economy that is not based on oil and plastics, but on the organic powers of nature.
